FAQs

What is Internal Family Systems Therapy?

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy is an evidence-based, highly sought-after therapy that emphasizes the mind as having multiple aspects or 'parts'. If you're interested in IFS, read more in my blog.

Who do you work with?

I work with adults and teenagers over the age of 16 on an individual basis.

How many sessions do I need?

It really depends - some people find that they get what they need from a few sessions, whilst others prefer a longer term arrangement.  If you're short on time or have a particular goal in mind, it's great to talk about that at our initial meeting.

How much do you charge for sessions?

The initial 30 minutes consultation is free.
Subsequent sessions are £80 for 60 minutes.
At least 24 hours advance notice is required to avoid being charged for cancellations.

I want to give counselling a try, but I'm not sure it's for me - what would you recommend?

Definitely give it a try!  There's nothing wrong with asking to do a trial session in order for you to decide if it's right for you.
